 | ole_uffda, 13 months ago I hate to be annoying, but when I went to view the winning video it shows that it is 65 seconds . Since the official rules state that it needs to be under a minute "(and I mean it)" as the rules state, seems like this one slipped through and won. Truth be known, I'm stoked to get as far as I did, but on the other hand , a little bummed that this happened. < br /> I know there is a factor of 4 seconds of intro and outro that can exceed the 1 minute maximum, but that would be 64 seconds which would be one full second over according to the OFFICIAL RULES (same rules that made my first entry disqualified!) Here's what you need to know. See Official Rules for full details... You need to keep your video under 1 minute (and I mean it) Videos must include the 3 second intro and 1 second outro video we created for you...no worries it won’t count towards your minute. I suppose the guy who won could've easily shaved off a second of his vid and re-entered had it been disqualified under the the rules. However, I'm bummed because my first video got the botch from the same set of Official Rules. Having another look, I see that only 2 of the finalists met that Official Rule. Perhaps I'm overlooking something. | |

| etphonehome1983, 13 months ago It was probably overlooked because the contest owners wanted to have each video to have a unique thumbnail. Since Jumpcut uses the first frame or second of a video for thumbnails, we had to put another second or two at the beginning of the video. Otherwise , all the entries would show up with the intro clip as a thumbnail. | |
