| byron, 19 months ago To delete the black slug, click Remix to open the movie in the editor and then delete the single black thumbnail in the timeline (Del on the keyboard). Deleting the black slug should not effect the music. Once you do this, you can add NFS clips to your movie by going to the Add tab, choosing Your Media and scrolling down to the Need For Speed Carbon sets (if you've already joined the contest). | |

We made a Web site, www.lickmydorito.com... that goes along with our Doritos commercial submission at this link: http://www.jumpcut.c... < br /> The idea of the commercial is to drive people to the site so they can interact with JumpCut (ideally during the Superbowl) by uploading fun movies of them licking Doritos - to music or dancing or however they want to. Plus, lickmydorito.com is a playful URL that people will remember, not to mention it gives more info on the flavors the girls are licking, the making of the commericial , as well as can link to Doritos main site, etc... Doritos could even use their favorite 'lickers' in another commercial contest if they wanted, providing people more the reason to upload a video... Anyway , my question is this - can I create a group , say, called Dorito Lickers and have it link to our page that is powered with JumpCut capability (similar to the 'crash the superbowl' page ) where you can view the top 5 on one page and then link to most recent most loved, etc ... We did a mockup of how it could look within the site (if you visit the URL you will see it at the bottom of the home page, even though it doesnt work yet...) I'm just preparing for the possibility that we could *possibly* be in the top 5 (eek!)-- and i would want to make sure the Web site could work like it was intended.... | byron, 2 months ago heh . . was just reading a note from one of our qa guys about your video . . . we know the issue, and we're trying to figure out a solution . . . one thing you could do to get this working right away is to slightly change the original file (trim a second off the nd on your desktop, or save in a different format, re-upload it and rebuild your movie. Let me know if you don't have the desktop tools to do that, and I'll do it myself. I'm on a plane for the next few hours, so I'll get to it tomorrow. | |
