Where I am really new is to all these video & group discussion sites being offered. I look & comment, but don't know how to take part! I haver never done any of these before, but really want to learn & participate!! The fact that you set up this forum speaks well for your abilities at this! I wouldn't know where to start!?! | BornToFly, 12 months ago Hi,grannyed1 - don't know where you bumped into me, but am glad to meet you! Yes, I want to learn to do this, but my tech abilities are meagre - don't have many photos on my computer to use yet! I still use 35mm & when I get my CD of prints & try to put them in my computer, what the directions say to do doesn't work half the time - pictures won't go into folders together, only separately, if at all!? So, I'm stumped from the git-go! I'm self-taught on this stuff by trial & error. Any thots on where i can get some savvy?? | |
| grannyed1, 12 months ago Man I would not have any idea on that where to even start. I do good to plug in my camera and go from there. What I learn on here is usually by myself, my children don't have enough patience to teach me this. | BornToFly, 12 months ago Appreciate your reply, grannyed - ...& your next to last sentence says it all! Since they've known it as preschoolers & grown up with it, they just don't have the insight /tolerance to see we still need help with it. This is why I usually avoid sites like JumpCut, etc. I've even gone to electronic stores & "geek" service desks for assistance in the right direction - ALL I get is scornful looks & comments like "If you don't know how to use it, why'd you buy it?" !? Nice approach, no?! Leaves me on my own, totally! Kind of a turnoff till I figure it out. ... Someday!! | |
